Terms of Service

Welcome to Fondr.bio (“Fondr”, “we”, “us”, “our”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of fondr.bio and any related services (collectively, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. Who Can Use Fondr

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country to consent to use online services) to create an account. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian’s permission. By using the Service, you confirm that you meet these requirements.

2. Your Account

  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity that happens under your account.
  • You must provide accurate information when signing up (including a valid email address, since it is used to verify your identity and manage Premium subscriptions).
  • You may not share your account, impersonate another person, or create an account for anyone other than yourself without permission.
  • We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, are used fraudulently, or are inactive for an extended period, at our discretion.

3. Your Bio Page and Content

  • You keep ownership of the content you upload or create (bio text, links, avatar/banner images, username, and any other profile content) (“Your Content”).
  • By posting Your Content, you grant Fondr a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, store, display, and distribute Your Content solely for the purpose of operating and promoting the Service (for example, displaying your public bio page to visitors).
  • You are solely responsible for Your Content and confirm that you have the rights to post it, and that it does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
  • You may not use the Service to post content that is illegal, hateful, harassing, sexually explicit involving minors, infringing, fraudulent, or that promotes violence or self-harm. We may remove content or suspend accounts that violate this rule.
  • We may, but are not obligated to, monitor content on the Service.

4. Free and Premium Plans

  • Fondr offers a free plan and paid Premium plans (billed monthly or yearly).
  • Premium purchases are processed by our third-party payment provider, Gumroad. When you purchase Premium, you agree to Gumroad’s own terms and privacy policy in addition to these Terms.
  • Premium access is activated automatically once payment is confirmed by Gumroad, using the email address associated with your Fondr account. Make sure you check out using the same email address as your account, or contact us at hello@fondr.bio for help.
  • Prices, features included in Premium, and any promotional discounts may change from time to time; we will make reasonable efforts to notify existing subscribers of material changes before they take effect.
  • Refunds and cancellations are subject to Gumroad’s refund policies and any additional terms stated on the checkout page at the time of purchase. To cancel a subscription, use Gumroad’s subscription management tools or contact hello@fondr.bio.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable law;
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts, our systems, or networks;
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service (e.g. via malware, scraping at scale, or denial-of-service activity);
  • Use automated means to create accounts or bio pages without our permission;
  • Resell or sublicense access to the Service without our written consent.

6. Availability and Changes to the Service

We aim to keep Fondr available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice.

7. Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms, if required by law, or if we discontinue the Service. Upon termination, your public bio page may become unavailable, and Premium access will end without a pro-rated refund unless required by law or otherwise agreed.

8. Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fondr and its team will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or data, arising out of or related to your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months before the claim arose (or $50 if you have not made any payments).

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the updated Terms on this page and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the revised Terms.
